Suppose God created nature, as is claimed in the Bible and is demanding that we must act accordingly while at the same time forbidding humans to have same-gender sexual relations. In that case, we have a serious contradiction between what God forbids in the Bible, and what we see in the nature that he created:
ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE, homosexual activities are strictly forbidden:
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
ACCORDING TO WHAT WE SEE IN NATURE:
“Same-sex behaviour ranging from co-parenting to sex has been observed in over 1,000 species with likely many more as researchers begin to look for the behaviour explicitly. Homosexuality is widespread, with bisexuality even more prevalent across species.”

Hi Mare! Wonderful to hear from you. I miss you on FB as well. How have you been getting along?
I’ve been tempted to return to FB. It pulls at me, but I’m STILL trying to find the time for my rewrite. Very little time to spare since the wife had a heart attack and is now recovering from a pacemaker emplant. Also, my son has moved in with us because of a pending divorce and a recent hip replacement and will be getting another operation soon. That makes two convalescents here. So, lots to do daily.

Thank you, sweetheart. (“As long as you have popcorn! LOL!) It certainly is clear there is a very dark shadow over the nation currently. But it is at least academically interesting to watch how far our Courts will go to allow President Dump to continue converting the nation to an authoritarian oligarchy. Dump has promised that “protests” in Washington on Saturday will be “hit hard.” Obviously, wants to turn Washington into a virtual Tiananmen Square. I hope someone will be brave enough to walk out in front of the tanks and stop them. She or he would go down in history.
On to another matter: I’m definitely not attempting to pin you down, but if you would be willing and have the time, I’m reading back over the 7 chapters that have the Professor and the Chancellor of the University bonding during a national political purge of “liberal” professors and the university’s right-wing Board of Regents investigation of the professor’s mandated teaching of Intelligent Design as a viable alternative to evolution.
If you would like, I’ll email them to you for your critique (e.g., readability, attention-holding, spelling, atmosphere, wordiness). And be brutally critical. It would help, not hurt me. I’m serious.

I’ll give it a go. My son is wicked intelligent, just received his Masters in Information. He also has a specialist degree as an archivist; he would likely be a great critic if you’d approve him? Let me know, but I would love reading your work.

Thanks, Mare. Your son has my permission. I’ll send the chapters at soon as I finish editing them. I found a few inconsistencies and with my days mostly filled with domestic issues, it’s likely to take a couple of weeks.
