Bill Maher on the Magic (R)

A fascinating take on conservatism v. Trumpism and political integrity on the Right. Maher is well known for telling it like it is and adding a degree of humor even as he is being serious. He nailed this on!

What did you make of the interview with Yiannopoulos, Max?

LOL! I certainly do not fault him for his homosexuality. I am convinced it is genetic in origin and no one should be marginalized or lampooned because of something they cannot help. I despise people who do just that and those who laugh with them–Trump being solidly in that camp.

Having said that and to be completely honest, I had serious difficulty with watching him. It seemed to me that at least part of his body language was exaggerated for comic effect. It was the very sort of persona some straight actors perform to make fun of homosexuals. I felt as though he was stereotyping.

I just don’t like the guy’s views (of course) and that he acted so flippant about it all.
