LOL! Tucker Carlson did his best with his constant interruptions designed to unhinge Bill Nye, but became unhinged himself as Nye remained quite calm and provided the answers to what he was asking. But then, Carlson denied Nye was answering the questions because Carlson couldn’t understand the very simple, factual answers.
We humans are still territorial creatures, a legacy of our evolutionary past. Today, we can see our territoriality in political borders, properties and land possessions, supported by law, the police and the military.
We have psychological territories as well (subjective belief that cannot be independently verified as true), such as religion, politics and, yes, even negatives such as global warming science denial.
Many of us cannot allow objective facts (e.g., independently verifiable, human caused, global warming) to encroach on our subjective territories. Tucker’s angry conflict arose when Nye’s objective facts came in contact with his subjective border, and Nye correctly identified it as Tucker’s “cognitive dissonance.”
That Carlson rushed to his border to fight against Nye’s objective facts demonstrates his belief that his territory was threatened, which is why he became angry.

LOL. Unfortunately, the Tucker(ed) minds in the U.S. are legion and they now have the political power to spread their ignorance big time. The woman now in charge of the Department of Education (that is supposed to support public education) is 100% against public education.

I certainly hope you are correct. Unfortunately it would still leave many appointees in place and a conservative Congress that is still bent on most of his policies. And, frankly, I’m not sure that anything he does will move the conservatives to impeach him, and even it it were to happen, I seriously doubt there would be enough spine in Congress to convict.
I’m wondering just how long it will take before the low information, misinformed public wakes up and realizes that he is substantially increasing the income of the wealthy while their income continues to flatline.
But as many likely will say: No, I’m no better off, but by golly he sure socked it to them-there illegals and terrorist Muslims. Hmm, no, I really don’t want to pick berries in the fields for migrant pay.”

Oh sure, I know it removes one problem and leaves in place a hundred others. I’m hoping The Justice Democrats takes off, and have been urging my American friends to sign up and support the movement. The Democrats as they are, are useless; they’ve just proven as much, and under Perez (and hence corporate control) will continue to be so.
But anyway, I do strongly suspect that Comey will get him, and that a deal he’s done with Russia will be exposed — maybe to do with Rosneft and maybe with the money trail evidence largely being associated with Alfa Bank — such that impeachment would be the only politically viable option. 6-8 months, I give it Max, but we’ll see.
