The Debate in Full:
As far as I am concerned, it is clear that the DNC has rigged the Democratic Debates in favor of Hillary Clinton.
How could the DNC rig the contest?
The best way to minimize the possibility that anyone other than Clinton will win the nomination is to insure that the other candidates do not get wide exposure.
Why would the DNC rig the contest?
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, chairwoman of the DNC, was co-chair of Hillary Clinton’s failed bid for the Democratic Nomination in 2008. No small part of the reason she failed was that Wasserman-Schultz secretly pledged her support for Obama once the nomination of Obama was in the bag. Thus, there is evidence of sabotage of the Clinton 2008 campaign. Therefore she is certainly capable of subterfuge.
Clinton has universal name recognition. Neither Sanders nor O’Malley have. Therefore, she has sabotaged Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley’s chances by insuring that they do not get the exposure necessary for all voters to know them and their views.
The circumstantial evidence is compelling:
In order to ensure low numbers of watchers for a debate is to schedule it on a Friday night or a Saturday night–especially opposite a big football game. The DNC certainly knows this.
The DNC has its pundits on the corporate media give Sanders and O’Malley much less exposure/mention than Clinton and they virtually always assume she will be the nominee.
Media coverage of the candidates
As well, the corporate media has a vested interest especially in marginalizing Bernie Sanders. Sanders is intent on eliminating corporate control of Congress by campaign finance reform (publicly financed campaigns and reversing, by legislation, the Citizens United Supreme Court decision, thereby blowing up the money pipeline that runs from Wall Street to congressional pockets.
Were Sanders to be successful (and, as president, he would take the issue to the American public if Congress balks), then the corporate media would stand to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in campaign attack ads. (Now, wouldn’t that just make you cry for them?)
Therefore, the only way the public has a shot at snatching our republic from the jaws of Oligarchy/corporatocracy and bring about a virtually just social and political system in America, is for all people of integrity to network and blog Sander’s message everywhere possible. We can expect no help from the media or the DNC. We need to join the political revolution and make America feel the Bern!

Thank you my man! I’ve been doing a slow simmer for weeks now and finally had to write. I’m working daily to get his message out anywhere I can. Even have two Bernie for president shirts and wear one every time I go out.

I totally agree with you. Even though, full disclosure, I’m a Hillary supporter.
I’m wondering how you think Hillary versus Bernie would do in the general election? Bernie might be able to pick up some of the Trump voters if Donald Trump isn’t the GOP candidate. On the other hand, I’m wondering if being a socialist will hurt Bernie in the general.

America has been groomed throughout the past century to believe that socialism equates to old Soviet Union style communism. To (most?) Americans, it’s black and white–no midtones. Either you are a capitalist (which has become almost synonymous with Christianity and “freedom”), or you are a communist (even though there has never been a true communist nation–only, perhaps, a few tribal societies).
In fact, as I’m sure you know, the US has many socialist systems and institutions. Thus, unless a person wants every government service privatized for profit, including the military, the VA, highways, bridges (all infrastructure), fire departments, police departments, water works, the Social Safety Net, etc, then that person is a democratic socialist to some degree.
If you haven’t read it, I invite you to read my reason for enthusiastically supporting Sanders. What is Social Justice?” There, my view is best explained by John Rawls in his book, A Theory of Justice. Note, especially, his mental exercise with the “Veil of Ignorance,” which leads to the basic principles for a just society.
The key mechanism Rawls points out is to recognize and accept human equality in freedom of access to the political and economic system. He certainly recognizes that people will be inherently unequal in abilities. Some will have certain attributes with which they advance in income and status/authority. Social justice, however, would mean that, although people do advance, no person advances in society at the expense of anyone else. We should all have a basic right to live without poverty. (There is much more to this, of course.)
Rawls’ formula is for the establishment of an ideal nation, which is, to my mind, unattainable, given our naturally inherited impulses to self-interest and indifference to strangers (or fear thereof). It is evident, however, that we are still evolving, at least mentally. More and more of us are coming to recognize the value of others and to have empathy for the less fortunate.
Bernie, to me, represents at least a chance to move toward a more just society because he is not nearly as self-interested (in terms of status) as Clinton, but she is not as self-centered as the conservatives.
I make that judgement because Bernie has never flip-flopped with a changed in the political winds and has been truthful. Too, according to OpenSecrets.org, he has no ties to Wall Street, but Hillary certainly does.
I listened closely to her in the last debate. Bernie said that he would move to break up the too-big-to-fail financial institutions. Hillary, however, said that she would as well, but then qualified the statement with, “if they don’t play by the rules.”
Hell, she knows very well that those institutions have purchased enough politicians that they sometime write their own rules or have a politician poke huge loopholes through them that, in either case, by far advantages them over consumers. Thus, she is being disingenuous to say the least. (there are other reasons, but it would take too long to lay out).
